In times of rapid change, teams are asked not only to adapt strategically but to navigate the emotional realities that come with uncertainty, transition, and loss.
Participants will explore how grief shows up in professional environments, in the form of shifting roles, evolving expectations, organizational transitions, funding changes, and the quiet, often unseen emotional labor of mission-driven work.
Through a trauma-informed and healing-centered lens, we will examine how leaders can support themselves and their teams through these moments while fostering cultures of psychological safety, accountability, and adaptive capacity.
Using practical tools and reflective frameworks, this session will help teams:
- recognize the emotional undercurrents that affect resilience and decision-making;
- understand the connection between individual wellbeing and team effectiveness;
- build shared language for navigating grief, growth, and change; and
- strengthen adaptive leadership skills that promote stability and cohesion.
This offering creates a grounded, supportive space for participants to reflect, connect, and walk away with actionable strategies to build more responsive, resilient, and emotionally attuned teams.
This class will not be recorded.
Cost: $75 chfareach member; $85 nonmember
