Join us for a collaborative workshop about how to converse with residents in a variety of situations, including:

  • spontaneous conversations when they see you on the property;
  • before, during, and after scheduled maintenance or inspections in their homes;
  • when you have to refuse requests or make unpopular announcements such as policy changes, shutoffs, or other inconveniences; and
  • fielding complaints.

Learning objectives: 

  1. Participants will identify the dynamics that can make these conversations stressful. 
  2. Participants will acquire techniques for skillfully maintaining boundaries in challenging conversations. 
  3. Participants will generate individualized strategies for respectfully redirecting the tenant when necessary.  

This class will not be recorded.
